Thanks to Carl for these photos.

These two pictures are of a 4mm scale BR Railbus modelled by Matthew Briggs of Walsall in the West Midlands of the U.K.

Matthew used a BullAnt with a 79mm wheelbase, the longest we have made so far. Matthew says it handles curves and steep gradients very well.

The De Dion Bouton OC1 railcar featured earlier as a 3D Model is now a reality, and soon to be released as a kit.

Designed by Cyril Ducrocq, the OC1 features a BullAnt drive concealed in the front of the railcar.

View from underneath the OC1 model. Thanks to Cyril Ducrocq for these photographs.

From Stefan Appelmans in Belgium, two railcars, a 49XX on the left and a 553XX on the right.

Under the 553XX model, the power train is a single Gozunder bogie and a dummy. The motor has a unique swivelling action to track the bogie.

The 49XX model uses a pair of modified BullAnts to create a low profile drive with a central motor, leaving the cabin space free.

A Beautiful little model of a Locotracteur Crochat 14L-4-60 of World War I vintage. Crafted in 009 scale by Neil Moss in the UK.

The body is entirely made of etched nickel silver, and uses a 9mm gauge BullAnt with 15.5mm wheelbase.

This drawing shows how Neil managed to squeeze the BullAnt into the body shell by shaping the flywheel.

A model of the Emu Bay Railway Company diesel locomotive PVH-1. The EBR operated on the west and north coast of Tasmania.

The model was scratchbuilt by Andrew Collier. The original still exists, preserved by the Derwent Valley Railway.

Andrew used a BullAnt Major, 4 axles, 1632 motor and 12mm gauge. We provided extended axles to allow for the fly cranks.

Two BullAnts power the model. Note the exquisite detail in the underframe and bogies.

Another fine model from Bruce Battles, this time a West Towns Car powered by BullAnt.

Pete DeBeers of Pasadena, CA, member of the Southern California Traction Club used LoBoys and a Half Floor motor mount to re-power his Suydam Pacific Electric 1544 "Electra" Switcher.

Pete used the 6' LoBoys with the snap stud mount which not only made replacing the old trucks easy, but kept the 1544 at its proper prototypical height. The motor is a Mashima 1620 with 2:1 gear tower giving the switcher a nice low speed and plenty of pulling power.

A Model Company Malcolm Moore tractor & Grandt Line battery electric from Bernhard Gutterer. Both are 12mm gauge. Note engine detail glued to motor. Very clever.

This time a Wrightlines diesel and a ZL105, again from Bernhard.

Bob Eckerfield of Missouri City, Texas re-powered this FED 4-4-0 by NWSL. Bob converted the model from tender drive to main wheel drive using a BullAnt.

This shot shows the BullAnt mounted in the bottom of the firebox area. Bob used the original wheels, turning up bushes to mate the 2mm BullAnt axles to the 3mm wheels.

Here is the model disassembled before painting. Bob says that after 30 minutes of running-in, the drive is running smoothly. His next project is a Red Ball HOn3 Mallett.

A Washington Capital Transit car 1053 re-powered by Richard Allman. The car is climbing a 4% grade. Uses LoBoy 6'0" trucks with 24" wheels and BullAnt 10 series gearbox.

Here the car is rounding a 6" radius curve. Richard has yet to complete the model, Paul Mayer is making special decals.

The car was powered using a mechanism kit with a 1632 motor driving both bogies.

Bob Dietrich built this model of a British Columbia Electric Railway series 1200-1300 trolley car.

Built from an NWSL kit, it features a LoBoy drive to one truck from a motor cleverly concealed in the floor.

Bob managed to also fit the passengers in using passenger seats from PikeStuff. Look at the side view again, where is the motor?

This lovely Pacific Electric Huntington Standard City Car from Werner Jurkowski started out as a Suydam PE291.

Werner rebuilt the car into a PE 153. After the Great Merger these cars were re-named into the 280 - 288 group.

Werner kept the car as clean as possible, retaining the interior seating and underfloor detail.

It is powered by a twin-flywheel Mashima motor driving a single Loboy truck, with a dummy Loboy at the other end.

A Trail Logging Loco built by Bernie Willis of Palmerston North in New Zealand. It is powered by a pair of Gozunder bogies. Nice!

Another fine model by Bruce Battles. This PCC started out as a PERy double ender brass model, but was cut & shut into an SF 'Magic Carpet' car.

Bruce used one of the new belt drive BullAnts fitted into a metal floor. He claims it is the quietest mechanism he has seen.

From France, Gerard Huet, of Huet Trains, has produced for sale a superb model crafted in nickel silver and brass.

The model is a Stephenson type of the PLM company, named 'La Tarasque', built in 1846. It is powered by a 3 axle BullAnt in the tender.

Gerold Eckl of Austria re-powered these Great Northern 3 phase box cab electrics using one of our mechanism kits. He is converting 3 of these models.

Gerold elected to use the Belt Drive option with a 25:1 ratio, but had to wait until we had the new heavy duty belts. Gerold is very pleased with the belt drive option.

Ken Lawrence of New York re-motored this awesome New York Central T-Motor using a pair of BullAnts. Photo taken in front of the Nepperhan Manor engine house.

This shot shows how Ken managed to shoehorn the two BullAnts into the chassis. He was just able to squeeze them in with flywheels attached.

Underside shot of the T-Motor chassis. The BullAnts are 18.25mm wheelbase with 10.5mm wheels, 1020 motor and 31:1 gearing.

T-Motor on-train with cars, on an express through Ardsley Heights. Lovely work, and a great looking layout.
